 1. How many titles are displayed during the opening sequences to the film? Which ones?

The titles start with the title of the movie: "Venom", then continues with Directed by, Screenplay by, Screen Story by, Based on, Produced by, Executive Producers, Director of Photography, Production designer, Edited by, Music by, Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Scott Haze, Reid Scott, Jenny Slate, Melora Walters, Casting by, Music Supervision by, Costume Designer, Visual Effects Designer, and An ... Production. 2. What connotations do the images carry? (how do you they make you feel) There are many pictures of of the protagonist Venom and its painted in a watercolors style where it looks like ink or ooze is dripping through the screen. 3. How is genre reinforced through symbolic and technical codes from the outset? (Can you tell what genre the film is) The symbolism found is the pictures of genes, blood cells, and the protagonist of venom. This represents the bonding between the main character and the symbiote Venom. 4. What conventions are used to ensure the film appeals to its target audience? The conventions have to deal with identity. Eddie Brock has to live with a symbiote living inside of him and it hurts him mentally because he had a life before this "demon" came and ruined it for him. This affects his identity because he can never be just himself anymore.

 After research. I am now ready to start planning on what the commercial will look like. there are questions I need to ask myself. for example. were will we film. what will be our backup plan. If we are outside. were will we go if it rains. certain things need to be looked at. for the question of were we film. I think we will film out at the field/track. are backup plan for if it will rain is we will go inside the class and try to film in here. Since it is a Nike commercial. we will focus our commercial on a sport. the sport will be soccer, track, or football. I have played soccer and football so I have a few ideas for what could happen in the commercial. if we do soccer we will need a soccer ball. if we do football we will need a football. But. if we do track, we don't need anything but shoes. still in the process of figuring it out. we will get it figured out.

Final changes Blog

This has been a long project. there has been ups and down. when looking back at my project there were issues. the issues have been fixed. i am now done with the project. as long as everything stays the same and nothing major happens. i liked this project that i made. it was very interactive with my life outside of school which was new. i got to do it with my friends. we all had a great time making this film. i have said that editing is my favorite part of the project. filming may be my favorite now. i acted as a director for our film and i felt that i did a good job. my group was great because we all had something for the group that was beneficial. the final change i made was for some of the scenes. i had to re film them because of the way they came out. that was easy because there was only like 2 that needed to be re done. i feel our group's skills have dramatically improved over the year and i know the project will show it. knowing some of the main filming terms helps when you ac...
