 i have mentioned how i got the music for the project before. i have never talked about the actual music. in my project. there is a lot of different things that are in the music that go with the film. when looking for music i wanted to find something that i liked. my strategy in my opinion was pretty good. i would look in the genre of the music i thought fit our project. once doing that i would listen to songs. i would mark down the names of songs i liked. after i had about five that i liked i began to vision. i wanted to see what it would look like in my video. there were many different songs that i liked so it took a long time for me to decide. i finally got it down to my top few and then realized something. two of the songs that i really liked for the video were from the same artist. this gave me an idea. that was to ask permission for both of those songs. the process tokk about a week or two. the artist eventually wrote back and would let me use the songs for free. after editing th

  I have mentioned before that i love to edit. while editing this project i really enjoyed the process of making and editing a film. even though it was not long, i still liked it. learning leads to success and after the first few times i really got a hang of it. me and my groupmate Jason really did a good job to make this short part of the film look nice. editing for me is peaceful in many ways. you can relax and listen to music while doing it. you can really work your brain when editing to make things look good. you can do expert level things with just a computer. many people that i know do not like it but i do. i have mentioned before that i like to edit because of my childhood. it is the fun part for me and i really do like to do it. that being said there is still things for me to learn. there are levels to editing. people may just clip things and call it a day but it does get a little deeper then that. you can edit many things like sound and pictures into a raw clip. i did not have

 now that filming is done the easy part starts. i like editing because of a few reasons. ever since i first got the internet, i have made videos and edited them in some way. i like to watch videos so when i edit it is fun for me. my group has another editor. jason likes to edit because he makes music and makes youtube videos. chad also makes videos but does not like to edit. for the first project i did with my group, i edited the whole thing. jason has said that he would like to edit this time. my group is full of people with certain skills and likings. i volunteered to edit but jason wants to edit too. we will probably split the editing so we are efficient. i would like to go all in for editing this time because i want it to be absolutely perfect. i like to add transitions because when i was young in school and learned how to use powerpoint, i liked the transitions the most. ever since that has been my favorite part. this will be a very good video that we produce because of my groups

 The process for getting the music was easy. at first, finding music was hard. a lot of the process consisted of finding a good song that fit. there were many genres of music that i thought of using. it was hard to decide because we needed to know how it would fit into the filming. once we found our song we knew. the name of the songs are carnivl of delight and zero gravity. i thought these songs really made our video pop and professional. the hardest part of the project was what i ha to do next. getting permission for a song is something i have never done. at first i did not know what to do. i went and researched how to get permission. apparently song permission is not something new to people that make Youtube videos. this is because anytime they use a song they have to ask to use it. at a level of business, you could get sued for using a song for money purposes. since i am using the songs for a school project, i do not have to worry about being sued. i then proceeded to email the cre

 We have finished filming. there were many challenges faced but i got through them. I think that my favorite part of the project is the filming. I like the filming because i get to be like the director and it is fun. I did not think that it would be as fun as it was to direct but i found myself having fun while doing it. after the last time when i filmed the scenes of chad and Jason, it was time to get me and Sebastian into the scenes. i did that by putting chad at the camera when he was not in the shot. because the whole project will be like 2 minutes, we have a lot of extra time that we filmed. this is an easy fix because i can edit it so that the scenes get to the point and don't waste time. after filming i realized i like our filming spot a lot because of the way we were able to film around the conflict and get certain shots. we did have to pick our spots very carefully because it may look weird if the scene is next to something like a playground. that being said we went to the

  Chad came over to my house on saturday early morning. He brought over a sword and extra clothes just in case. We waited until 1 P.M to pick up Jason so we could film. Sebastian couldn't come because he was sick at the time. Once I drove to Holiday Park, we found a secure location to record. I was the one recording and i first did a tracking shot of Chad walking. Chad told me that we'll have to use my phone to do a voiceover but we never did it. Our next scene was a close-up shot of Chad's pocket going for a call. Jason also needed to record voiceover lines for the phone call so chad talked to himself. Chad said he got a girl to say the line "Drake, help me please!" for us. Its from one of his friends who he asked for. After the phone call, we did a medium shot and showed Chad running out the camera. We went for a close-up shot here to show his hand grabbing the sword.
