Production Blog: music

 The process for getting the music was easy. at first, finding music was hard. a lot of the process consisted of finding a good song that fit. there were many genres of music that i thought of using. it was hard to decide because we needed to know how it would fit into the filming. once we found our song we knew. the name of the songs are carnivl of delight and zero gravity. i thought these songs really made our video pop and professional. the hardest part of the project was what i ha to do next. getting permission for a song is something i have never done. at first i did not know what to do. i went and researched how to get permission. apparently song permission is not something new to people that make Youtube videos. this is because anytime they use a song they have to ask to use it. at a level of business, you could get sued for using a song for money purposes. since i am using the songs for a school project, i do not have to worry about being sued. i then proceeded to email the creator of the songs for the permission. after a while i got a response. the creator would let me use the songs! now i know i have good songs that fit into my video.

 After research. I am now ready to start planning on what the commercial will look like. there are questions I need to ask myself. for example. were will we film. what will be our backup plan. If we are outside. were will we go if it rains. certain things need to be looked at. for the question of were we film. I think we will film out at the field/track. are backup plan for if it will rain is we will go inside the class and try to film in here. Since it is a Nike commercial. we will focus our commercial on a sport. the sport will be soccer, track, or football. I have played soccer and football so I have a few ideas for what could happen in the commercial. if we do soccer we will need a soccer ball. if we do football we will need a football. But. if we do track, we don't need anything but shoes. still in the process of figuring it out. we will get it figured out.

Final changes Blog

This has been a long project. there has been ups and down. when looking back at my project there were issues. the issues have been fixed. i am now done with the project. as long as everything stays the same and nothing major happens. i liked this project that i made. it was very interactive with my life outside of school which was new. i got to do it with my friends. we all had a great time making this film. i have said that editing is my favorite part of the project. filming may be my favorite now. i acted as a director for our film and i felt that i did a good job. my group was great because we all had something for the group that was beneficial. the final change i made was for some of the scenes. i had to re film them because of the way they came out. that was easy because there was only like 2 that needed to be re done. i feel our group's skills have dramatically improved over the year and i know the project will show it. knowing some of the main filming terms helps when you ac...
