Production Blog: Filming Blog: Aggrivations

  Chad came over to my house on saturday early morning. He brought over a sword and extra clothes just in case. We waited until 1 P.M to pick up Jason so we could film. Sebastian couldn't come because he was sick at the time. Once I drove to Holiday Park, we found a secure location to record. I was the one recording and i first did a tracking shot of Chad walking. Chad told me that we'll have to use my phone to do a voiceover but we never did it. Our next scene was a close-up shot of Chad's pocket going for a call. Jason also needed to record voiceover lines for the phone call so chad talked to himself. Chad said he got a girl to say the line "Drake, help me please!" for us. Its from one of his friends who he asked for. After the phone call, we did a medium shot and showed Chad running out the camera. We went for a close-up shot here to show his hand grabbing the sword. After this Chad finds Jason and they start yelling at each other about their past. This shows that they were once friends, but since Drake changed he is a traitor and deemed an enemy. After some more yelling about Drake's sister, Joker unleashed both Akira (Me) and Ren to attack Drake. We stopped for today because Sebastian was needed in the second part of filming. Since one henchman was gone we stopped for today. We reviewed footage of the scenes that I recorded and all of them were good for me. Since all of them were fine, I drove back to my house and waited for Chad and Jason's parents to pick them up. Our plan is to finish all recordings by the next time we go out to film and do all the voiceovers.

 After research. I am now ready to start planning on what the commercial will look like. there are questions I need to ask myself. for example. were will we film. what will be our backup plan. If we are outside. were will we go if it rains. certain things need to be looked at. for the question of were we film. I think we will film out at the field/track. are backup plan for if it will rain is we will go inside the class and try to film in here. Since it is a Nike commercial. we will focus our commercial on a sport. the sport will be soccer, track, or football. I have played soccer and football so I have a few ideas for what could happen in the commercial. if we do soccer we will need a soccer ball. if we do football we will need a football. But. if we do track, we don't need anything but shoes. still in the process of figuring it out. we will get it figured out.

Final changes Blog

This has been a long project. there has been ups and down. when looking back at my project there were issues. the issues have been fixed. i am now done with the project. as long as everything stays the same and nothing major happens. i liked this project that i made. it was very interactive with my life outside of school which was new. i got to do it with my friends. we all had a great time making this film. i have said that editing is my favorite part of the project. filming may be my favorite now. i acted as a director for our film and i felt that i did a good job. my group was great because we all had something for the group that was beneficial. the final change i made was for some of the scenes. i had to re film them because of the way they came out. that was easy because there was only like 2 that needed to be re done. i feel our group's skills have dramatically improved over the year and i know the project will show it. knowing some of the main filming terms helps when you ac...
