Production blog: second editing


 

I have mentioned before that i love to edit. while editing this project i really enjoyed the process of making and editing a film. even though it was not long, i still liked it. learning leads to success and after the first few times i really got a hang of it. me and my groupmate Jason really did a good job to make this short part of the film look nice. editing for me is peaceful in many ways. you can relax and listen to music while doing it. you can really work your brain when editing to make things look good. you can do expert level things with just a computer. many people that i know do not like it but i do. i have mentioned before that i like to edit because of my childhood. it is the fun part for me and i really do like to do it. that being said there is still things for me to learn. there are levels to editing. people may just clip things and call it a day but it does get a little deeper then that. you can edit many things like sound and pictures into a raw clip. i did not have to do the advanced things for this but it still was enjoyable. i like tech myself so when i edit i have my editing things with me. i don't think that i would change anything about how i did this. you can always improve but i think me and Jason did a great job.

 After research. I am now ready to start planning on what the commercial will look like. there are questions I need to ask myself. for example. were will we film. what will be our backup plan. If we are outside. were will we go if it rains. certain things need to be looked at. for the question of were we film. I think we will film out at the field/track. are backup plan for if it will rain is we will go inside the class and try to film in here. Since it is a Nike commercial. we will focus our commercial on a sport. the sport will be soccer, track, or football. I have played soccer and football so I have a few ideas for what could happen in the commercial. if we do soccer we will need a soccer ball. if we do football we will need a football. But. if we do track, we don't need anything but shoes. still in the process of figuring it out. we will get it figured out.

Final changes Blog

This has been a long project. there has been ups and down. when looking back at my project there were issues. the issues have been fixed. i am now done with the project. as long as everything stays the same and nothing major happens. i liked this project that i made. it was very interactive with my life outside of school which was new. i got to do it with my friends. we all had a great time making this film. i have said that editing is my favorite part of the project. filming may be my favorite now. i acted as a director for our film and i felt that i did a good job. my group was great because we all had something for the group that was beneficial. the final change i made was for some of the scenes. i had to re film them because of the way they came out. that was easy because there was only like 2 that needed to be re done. i feel our group's skills have dramatically improved over the year and i know the project will show it. knowing some of the main filming terms helps when you ac...
