Production Blog: Editing

 now that filming is done the easy part starts. i like editing because of a few reasons. ever since i first got the internet, i have made videos and edited them in some way. i like to watch videos so when i edit it is fun for me. my group has another editor. jason likes to edit because he makes music and makes youtube videos. chad also makes videos but does not like to edit. for the first project i did with my group, i edited the whole thing. jason has said that he would like to edit this time. my group is full of people with certain skills and likings. i volunteered to edit but jason wants to edit too. we will probably split the editing so we are efficient. i would like to go all in for editing this time because i want it to be absolutely perfect. i like to add transitions because when i was young in school and learned how to use powerpoint, i liked the transitions the most. ever since that has been my favorite part. this will be a very good video that we produce because of my groups skills that we have put into the video and the time needed to make the video perfect. just because the video is 2 minutes does not mean there won't be much editing involved. i could sure do a little editing but i want to go all in. i have a software that makes it easy for me to edit videos. i will do my best to make sure the video is as perfect as it can be.

This has been a long project. there has been ups and down. when looking back at my project there were issues. the issues have been fixed. i am now done with the project. as long as everything stays the same and nothing major happens. i liked this project that i made. it was very interactive with my life outside of school which was new. i got to do it with my friends. we all had a great time making this film. i have said that editing is my favorite part of the project. filming may be my favorite now. i acted as a director for our film and i felt that i did a good job. my group was great because we all had something for the group that was beneficial. the final change i made was for some of the scenes. i had to re film them because of the way they came out. that was easy because there was only like 2 that needed to be re done. i feel our group's skills have dramatically improved over the year and i know the project will show it. knowing some of the main filming terms helps when you ac...

Planning blog

 After research. I am now ready to start planning on what the commercial will look like. there are questions I need to ask myself. for example. were will we film. what will be our backup plan. If we are outside. were will we go if it rains. certain things need to be looked at. for the question of were we film. I think we will film out at the field/track. are backup plan for if it will rain is we will go inside the class and try to film in here. Since it is a Nike commercial. we will focus our commercial on a sport. the sport will be soccer, track, or football. I have played soccer and football so I have a few ideas for what could happen in the commercial. if we do soccer we will need a soccer ball. if we do football we will need a football. But. if we do track, we don't need anything but shoes. still in the process of figuring it out. we will get it figured out.
