Production blog now time to edit







We have finished filming. The second we finished filming, we started to edit. I have mentioned that our group is very tech savvy. Jason is our best editor. the reason is that he spends a lot of time editing videos and has a passion for it. The first few scenes had to be in a slow tempo and ominous vibe. the video gets faster as it progresses. just because Jason is the best doesn't mean he won't do the whole thing. I also love to edit. I have a liking for making videos online. I don't really film videos I make them while playing games. someone else in my group that also has a passion for it is chad. chad also makes videos the same way that I do. me and chad have known each other for a long time. we became friends while playing video games together. that passion transitioned into making videos. One of the main reasons I started making videos was because of watching videos on thing like YouTube and twitch. what I like about the editing process is that it seems to be more challenging than filming. After we edited the first six scenes it was pretty easy from there. one of the hardest things was to remember how long the video should be. it was hard because we filmed a lot to fit it into a minute and fifteen seconds.

 After research. I am now ready to start planning on what the commercial will look like. there are questions I need to ask myself. for example. were will we film. what will be our backup plan. If we are outside. were will we go if it rains. certain things need to be looked at. for the question of were we film. I think we will film out at the field/track. are backup plan for if it will rain is we will go inside the class and try to film in here. Since it is a Nike commercial. we will focus our commercial on a sport. the sport will be soccer, track, or football. I have played soccer and football so I have a few ideas for what could happen in the commercial. if we do soccer we will need a soccer ball. if we do football we will need a football. But. if we do track, we don't need anything but shoes. still in the process of figuring it out. we will get it figured out.

Final changes Blog

This has been a long project. there has been ups and down. when looking back at my project there were issues. the issues have been fixed. i am now done with the project. as long as everything stays the same and nothing major happens. i liked this project that i made. it was very interactive with my life outside of school which was new. i got to do it with my friends. we all had a great time making this film. i have said that editing is my favorite part of the project. filming may be my favorite now. i acted as a director for our film and i felt that i did a good job. my group was great because we all had something for the group that was beneficial. the final change i made was for some of the scenes. i had to re film them because of the way they came out. that was easy because there was only like 2 that needed to be re done. i feel our group's skills have dramatically improved over the year and i know the project will show it. knowing some of the main filming terms helps when you ac...
