Genre Research: Thriller

 The thriller Genre is typically exiting and consist of crime. there seems to be a lot of suspense present in this genre. think of a movie like the quiet place. the audience is immersed in a movie that has no character conversation. almost the whole movie is complete silence. in thriller movies, there is a lot of close up shots because they add to suspense. just like in horror movies, there can be a lot of high pitch instruments playing as the background music/overlay. there can be situations like having to solve a murder or finding out who is the bad guy. like all other genres, thriller can be very specific. there is a lot of types of action, horror, and romance movies. there is many different types of  situations that fit into the thriller genre. i like to think of thriller as a more suspenseful version of horror. moods can change the feeling in thriller movies by making something feel very important. surprise fits into the genre because of the thought of not knowing somethi...
